
SEARCCT in collaboration with the United Nations Counter-Terrorism Centre (UNCCT) organised an online workshop on “Advanced OSINT Training for Practitioners: Tools and Techniques for Online Counter-Terrorism Investgations” from 27th and 28th October 2021.
The training was part of the “Enhancing skills of South Asia and South East Asia officials in relation to structured methodologies for the collection of Open Source Information from the Internet and Social Media for counter-terrorism investigations”. The project was funded by the Government of Japan.

The workshop was aimed to enhance participants’ skills in the collection of open source information from the internet and social media for counter-terrorism investigations. 28 local OSINT practitioners from various ministries and agencies attended the workshop. The workshop was guided by Mr. Vytenis Benetis, Cybersecurity and New Technologies Unit, UNOCT/UNCCT.
